The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Lucas Richman continue an age-old holiday tradition in East Tennessee with the 25th Annual Clayton Holiday concerts.
Performances will take place on Friday and Saturday, December 16 and 17, at 7:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday, December 17 and 18, at 3:00 PM at the Civic Auditorium.
The shows, sponsored by Clayton Homes, Clayton Bank and Trust and Clayton Volvo, are a perfect way to celebrate the season with the entire family.
"I always look forward to our Clayton Holiday Concerts because, as an East Tennessee tradition, they provide an opportunity for the whole community to come together and celebrate family, love and wonderful music," says KSO Music Director Lucas Richman. This year's concerts will feature performances by special guests Jim Clayton, Hallerin Hilton Hill and Logan Murrell, classical and traditional holiday favorites such as Anderson's Sleigh Ride and Christmas Festival Overture, Handel's Hallelujah Chorus with the Knoxville Choral Society, performances by Go!
Contemporary Dance Works, music by the Sound Company Children's Choir, the traditional Christmas sing-along with the KSO audience and everyone's favorite elf: Santa Claus!
Tickets begin at just $14 and children's tickets are half price before fees. To purchase tickets call 865-291-3310 or 865-656-4444 or visit www.knoxvillesymphony.com.
